Lead Teacher 
Job Description:
The Lead Teacher will be responsible for general classroom management and supervision. This will include the ability to plan and implement activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth. He/She is responsible for the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children and will maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.

Responsibilities:
• Supports and implements the curriculum
• Interacts with children at their level (stoop and bend) both physically and verbally throughout the day
• Helps children with personal hygiene and with clean up of the classroom
• Meets with parents, staff, and administration
• Attends staff meetings, in-house training, and other center functions, etc., as requested by the director
• Adheres to the center’s Health and Safety procedures
• Familiarize himself/herself with state licensing requirements and the center’s policies
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:
The candidate must
1. be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
2. possess at least one of the following sets of minimum academic requirements and qualifying child care experience at the time of employment:
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition; Child Development Related diploma from a vocational institute accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; or similar credential where the course of study includes an intensive practicum in child care as part of the curriculum and which is approved by the Department;
• Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;
• Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Infant and Toddler;
• Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Program Administration;
• Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in School Age and Youth Care;
• Technical College Diploma (TCD) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Child Development;
• Paraprofessional Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission;
• Twenty-five (25) quarter hours or fifteen (15) semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field other than Early Childhood Education or Child Development and three (3) months of qualifying child care experience;
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
3. have current evidence of successful completion of a biennial training program in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a triennial training program in first aid provided by certified health care professionals and which covers the provision of emergency care to infants and children
4. be ready to participate in the required orientation and training
5. not be suffering from any physical and mental handicap or mental health disorder that would interfere with the applicant’s ability to perform adequately the job duties of providing for the care and supervision of the children enrolled in the Center
6. never have been shown by credible evidence, e.g., a court or jury, a department investigation or other reliable evidence to have abused, neglected or deprived a child or adult or have subjected any person to serious injury as a result of intentional or grossly negligent misconduct
7. have a Satisfactory Record Check Determination
8. be neat, clean and professional in appearance
9. be proficient in computer, internet and business software skills
10. be able to lift up to 30 pounds
11. be able to react to emergency situations within 50 feet in 15 seconds
12. have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
13. be able to stand for long periods of time, at least 75% of the day
14. be able to bend, stoop and squat at least 95% of the day
15. be able to manage multiple priorities in stressful situations

Caregiver/Aide/Assistant Teacher
Job Description:
The Caregiver/Aide/Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting Lead Teachers with general classroom management and supervision. Receptionist

Job Description:
The receptionist is responsible for serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. The receptionist is also responsible for assisting parents with enrollment and fee payment.

Responsibilities:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

 • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.

 • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.

•  Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for center’s phone and console operation.

• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

 • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
